About the role
Are you ready to be a part of something sweet? 🍒 At CherryHill Orchards, we’re gearing up for another fantastic cherry season, and we’re on the lookout for detail-oriented individuals to join us as Quality Inspectors! If you’re passionate about fresh produce, have a keen eye for detail, and want to ensure that only the best cherries make it to market, then this role is perfect for you.
The role is all about keeping quality top-notch! You’ll be responsible for conducting inline quality assessments, performing final product inspections, and overseeing waste lane evaluations. Your sharp eye for detail will ensure that our cherries meet the highest standards. You’ll also handle data entry, promote cleanliness, and enforce food safety hygiene across the workplace, ensuring our seasonal workforce complies with Quality Assurance guidelines. Additionally, you’ll help keep our packing facility spotless and in compliance with food safety regulations

What we are looking for
- Highly attention to detail is a must
- Good command of English both verbal and written
- Be comfortable to take direction and provide instruction to staff to ensure QA compliance
- Intermediate Microsoft Skills
- Flexible with the ability to multi-task
- Follow safe work procedures, instructions and company policies
- Demonstrated ability to organise and work as part of a high-performance team
About you
- You must hold a current Driver’s license & own transport.
- Previous experience in quality control or similar role highly regarded
- Experience in working in a fresh food handling facility is a bonus
- Must be available on weekends and flexible with shift scheduling
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Capable of lifting 15 kg and comfortable standing for extended periods
- Committed and reliable, with the ability to travel to the primary work location in the stunning Yarra Valley area
