The Yarra Valley Floral Day Pass combines the Tesselaar Tulip Festival and CherryHill Orchards’ annual Blossom Festival in one great-value, self-drive experience. Located just ten minutes apart and approximately one hour from Melbourne’s CBD, the two festivals are perfectly paired for a memorable day out with family, friends or someone special.
Available midweek, the Floral Day Pass invites guests to explore the Yarra Valley at their own pace. Each festival offers its own distinct beauty and atmosphere, yet together they paint a picture of the Yarra Valley in spring.
At the Tesselaar Tulip Festival, enjoy a program of live entertainment and family-friendly activities. During Children’s Weeks, guests can look forward to shows featuring The Octonauts and Peppa Pig, interactive wildlife experiences, children’s activities and traditional Dutch food and entertainment.
Although the flower display in the tulip fields will be smaller than originally anticipated this year, there will still be blooms throughout the gardens and a full program of activities and entertainment to enjoy.
Your Floral Day Pass also includes a complimentary tractor ride at Tesselaar Tulip Festival.
At CherryHill Orchards, wander beneath rows of beautiful white cherry blossoms, relax in the orchard and enjoy live acoustic music and soak in the festive spring atmosphere. Families can also explore the Kids Hub, featuring activities such as arts and crafts, scavenger hunts, storytelling and lawn games.
The recent growing conditions affecting the tulip crop have not affected CherryHill’s cherry blossoms, with the Blossom Festival progressing beautifully as expected.
Your visit to CherryHill also includes a refreshing complimentary cherry spritzer. Located just one hour from Melbourne’s CBD and only ten minutes apart from each other, both destinations are easily accessible and perfectly paired for a day escape from the city.
