We are CherryHill Orchards, a third-generation family-owned business specialising in premium fresh cherries, based in Victoria’s Yarra Valley. We run agri-tourism experiences and supply fresh cherries to Australia’s supermarkets, independent grocers, and fresh produce markets. We also export our fresh cherries around the world.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Blossom Festival is here, and cherry season is just around the corner! If you love the outdoors, have passion for agriculture, and want to be part of one of the Yarra Valley’s most exciting seasonal experiences, we’d love to hear from you.

Join our seasonal team from September to January 2027 in the stunning Yarra Valley (just 1 hour’s drive from Melbourne CBD).

These positions are suitable for applicants with full working rights, including Working Holiday Visa holders, Australian Permanent Residents, and Australian Citizens. We’re eligible to sign off on visa day extensions for Working Holiday Visa holders.

Our Farmhand roles offer a variety of hands-on outdoor work. We’re looking for candidates who love agriculture and the outdoors, take pride in using equipment safely, and bring a genuine can-do attitude to everything they do.

What you’ll be doing:

• Perform harvesting activities using equipment safely
• Operate tractors
• Carry out general farm activities
• Clean and maintain sheds, equipment, and storage areas
• Perform basic equipment repairs under the guidance of the line manager
• General farm duties, as required

About you:

• You have your own vehicle and a full driver’s licence
• You have a good command of English and can communicate effectively
• You have at least 6 months – 1 year of experience in agriculture or horticulture
• You genuinely enjoy working outdoors in different weather conditions
• You understand Workplace Health & Safety responsibilities
• You are mechanically minded
• You are available to work weekends and can commit to the full season
• You are team-oriented, reliable, and highly organised
